In ANSYS Workbench, it is not possible to regenerate the original geometry from a mesh directly. However, you can try the following workaround to reconstruct the geometry from the mesh:

  1. In ANSYS Workbench, create a new project and add a Structural analysis system to the project.
  2. In the Project Schematic panel, right-click the Mesh node and select “Export Mesh”.
  3. In the “Export Mesh” dialog, select “ANSYS Neutral File (*.neu)” as the file type, and browse to the location where you want to save the exported mesh file.
  4. Click “OK” to export the mesh.
  5. In ANSYS DesignModeler, create a new blank model and import the exported mesh file using the “Import Mesh” feature.
  6. In ANSYS DesignModeler, use the “Surface Extraction” tool to extract the surfaces of the mesh. You can then use these surfaces to recreate the geometry of the original model.
